Emergency Manager Kevin Garvin presented Resolution 26‑06 to formally establish an emergency management department for Cedar County and incorporate it into the county disaster plan. The board passed the resolution by a unanimous 3–0 vote (motion by David McGregor, second by Mike Meier).
