Board approves renaming Andersen Lane to Heartbeat Ranch Road
The Thomas County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an application from Austin Barnes to rename Andersen Lane to Heartbeat Ranch Road; Region 26 representative Alma Beland indicated agreement with the change and the motion passed by roll call.

The board approved a request from Austin Barnes, who filed an application with a $500 fee, to change the name of Andersen Lane to Heartbeat Ranch Road. The transcript records that "Application and fee of $500 have been received from Austin Barnes to rename Andersen Ln to Heartbeat Ranch Rd. Alma Beland from Region 26 has agreed to the change." Commissioner Charles Daly moved the motion and Commissioner Lewis Herbaugh seconded; the board voted Ayes — Moody, Daly, Herbaugh; Nays — none.
