Calvert Library Executive Director Carrie Wilson asked the commissioners to approve a budget amendment and a memorandum of agreement that authorize the county to advance up to $53,000 to customize a newly acquired Ford Transit vehicle for mobile library services. The library said the vehicle will serve homebound customers, family childcare providers, senior centers and outreach events, and that staffing is available to support two mobile units.
