The Mount Vernon Landmark Commission voted to approve a certificate of appropriateness for exterior and interior renovations at 204 East Main (Ranch Fitness), including a new metal roofline, painted brick, a mural on the Blue Emporium wall and an expanded entry. Applicant said the business plans to reopen Aug. 6.
