Valier trustees approve routine minutes, software and equipment purchases; continue code officer 4–1
At the April 27 meeting the Village of Valier Board approved March minutes and claims, voted to pay for a LOCIS utility‑billing rounding update, approved $1,000 in night safety equipment for the fire department, adopted a Franklin County animal control ordinance, and voted 4–1 to continue code enforcement officer Derek Parvin.

The Village of Valier Board of Trustees met April 27, 2026 and approved routine business including the March 23, 2026 minutes and payment of claims. Trustees accepted committee reports and the financial statements through March 31, 2026, and Treasurer Chris Scroggins said he is pursuing a USDA letter related to the village's fire truck loan.
