The Grass Lake Charter Township Board voted unanimously June 10, 2025 to extend the moratorium on mining and extraction operations for an additional six months. Supervisor Lesinski moved the extension and Bednarski-Lynch supported the motion; roll call vote recorded yeas from Lesinski, Bednarski-Lynch, Bray, Loveland, Wyant, Rentfrow and Harris.
