Chris Pritchard told the Wells Selectboard on July 14 that the Channel Drive septic project has been stopped twice by state agencies, leaving previously allocated grant funds unusable before an August 1, 2026 deadline. He said the contractor had intended to resume work this spring but the state intervened again.
