The Niles Community Schools Board of Education moved forward with several policy updates at its Nov. 3 meeting. The minutes record: "Motion by D. Daniels seconded by J. Asmus that the board approve the first reading of the updated policy #7540.02" and a separate motion to approve the first reading of Board Policy 8305; the board also approved second readings of Board Policy #2266 and Board Policy #5517.01. The roll calls for these motions show all present members voting in the affirmative with one member absent.
