Pawnee County commissioners reject proposal for courthouse intercom system
After a Safety Committee presentation, the board voted 2–1 against purchasing the proposed courthouse intercom system; Commissioner Jan Lang voted yes while Commissioners Seitz and Heidemann voted no.

Emily Sisco of the county Safety Committee presented a quote for a courthouse intercom system at the May 12 meeting. Commissioner Jan Lang moved to approve the intercom purchase and Commissioner Lavon Heidemann seconded; the motion failed on a 2–1 vote (Heidemann no, Seitz no, Lang yes).
