DMV to end Colfax County licensing services Feb. 13 as Norfolk center opens
The Nebraska DMV notified Colfax County that driver licensing exams and DMV services in Colfax County will cease on Feb. 13, 2026, after a new Driver Licensing Service Center opens in Norfolk. County officials received the notice at their Feb. 10 meeting and were directed to the Norfolk center for future services.

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles informed the Colfax County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10 that a new Driver Licensing Service Center will open in Norfolk and, beginning Feb. 13, 2026, driver licensing examinations and DMV services will cease in Colfax County.
