Jefferson County commissioners approved a package of routine grants, contracts and General Services items during the meeting. Chair (speaker 1) presented community-grant items that included a $14,000 award for the Civil Air Patrol at Bessemer Airport, a $300,000 item for Macaulay athletics, and an item for Wings of Hope; those items were moved and approved by voice votes.
