Oak's Summit design deadline extended; DOT restrictions shift construction timeline

Planner updated the board on the Oak's Summit project schedule, saying the state DOT asked the town to add a note to plans restricting construction between Oct. 1 and Apr. 30 to protect trout habitat. "We were asked by DOT to add a note to the plans which restricts construction between October 1 to April 30 in order to protect the trout," the planner said, explaining the change shifts the contract advertisement and award timeline.
