Board recognizes three promoted administrators, including new CTE director
The board recognized Heather Smith (director of career and technical education), Lauren Sikoli (principal, Sunrise Elementary) and Cole Mannis (principal, Central Middle). Each spoke briefly and thanked mentors, family and district leadership.

The board used the meeting to publicly recognize three administrative promotions. Dr. Rendell introduced Heather Smith as the district's new director of career and technical education; Smith thanked Dr. Rendell, the board and colleagues, saying she was "really excited about this opportunity to serve all of VPS students in a different capacity."
