The Petersburg Borough Assembly unanimously approved ordinance 2026-19 on second reading, removing chapter 9.36 (violation penalty) from the former City of Petersburg municipal code. Mayor Lynn said the provision is outdated because enforcement and penalty provisions are now located in chapter 9.04 of the borough code.
