The town's fire department reported operational activity and an equipment-delivery delay to the board. "We have 8 fire runs and 5 ambulance runs," the department representative said when giving the routine report. Members were told supplies for a hydrant project were delayed after a vendor trailer problem but that staff expect delivery before the end of the week.
