Nextlink contacted the county regarding the Nebraska BEAD (NE BEAD) broadband program and requested a letter of support. The board voted to approve signing a letter indicating the county’s acceptance of broadband installations in underserved areas; the NE BEAD program will award applicants to areas and coordinate site visits with awarded applicants, the record shows.
