Council unanimously approved a six‑month extension of Ordinance 2025‑12 to continue a residential utility‑assistance pilot program through June 30, 2026. Marcy, the presenting staff member, told the council that 20 applicants are currently approved on the program (up from 13 in the prior update) and that the program has been actively promoted via bill notices, the multicultural center and partner outreach.
