The board recorded that new ethics training requirements effective Jan. 1 require most Holland elected officials to complete a 45-minute online training by September 2025 and to repeat the training every three years. The minutes state that the town must also establish an ethics complaint procedure and name a liaison to the State Ethics Commission as well as a Designated Complaint Recipient to receive complaints alleging violations.
