Trustees review ambulance response data; ESCI begins on-site EMS evaluation

Plymouth Township trustees reviewed a staff-compiled snapshot of ambulance dispatch data and heard Huron Valley Ambulance (HVA) explanations of the limits of CAD-to-CAD comparisons. Staff said 701 calls were part of the sample and 196 were identified as exceeding a 10-minute response threshold in their reconciliation attempt; HVA vice president Carl Rock explained that differences in how CLEMIS (township dispatch) and HVA CAD record timestamps make direct comparisons difficult.
