Code officer requests vehicle maintenance line; board asks for equitable mileage policy

Town staff reported that the Land Use Assistant has been designated a Deputy Code Enforcement Officer, which increases clerical pay modestly under a 3.5% salary change. The Code Officer requested a $2,500 vehicle maintenance line to cover upkeep for his assigned vehicle; staff said mileage lines were being reviewed and that mileage was being returned to certain departmental lines where used.
