On June 18, 2025 the Town of Whiting Planning Commission approved a minor subdivision application submitted by Gary and Sherryl Ruel, with the approval conditioned on verification of a state wastewater permit. Commissioner Heather Bouchard moved for approval "with the condition that everything is correct with the wastewater permit," and Commissioner Bob Wood seconded. The minutes record that all present voted in favor.
