At the April 27, 2026 meeting of the Town of Whiting Select Board, visitor Jen Erwin used the public comment period to bring local examples she had read in the newspaper to the board's attention. Erwin said she had seen articles about towns collaborating on shared resources and about community events and presented those items as possible models for Whiting.
