Kara Halpern testified that her property at 947 Route 100 is a duplex with two kitchens that she and her sister sometimes rent separately, and she argued that the Listers' comparables — which the town used to set the assessment — were not appropriate. Halpern said the Listers overstated the value of recent renovations and that legal bedroom counts and layout differences made the single-family comparables unsuitable.
