OSC auditors set procurement audit scope; county posts budget workshop and hearing dates

County Administrator Jessica Mullins told the committee that Office of the State Comptroller auditors have completed a risk assessment and established an audit objective focused on procurement, covering Jan. 1, 2025, through the end of audit fieldwork with a limited scope extension back to Jan. 1, 2021 to review procurements related to the Multi-use Facilities Project. Mullins said the county may expand audit objectives or extend the scope if needed as field work progresses.
