Yates County Finance Committee hears ReConnect update; Phase 2 is live

Jeff Ayers, the county planning lead for the ReConnect broadband project, told the Finance Committee that Phase 2 of the program "is live. Customer connections are happening." He reported 81 active accounts and said Phase 3 construction began Aug. 25 with an extension request submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service on Aug. 16.
