Drexel Heights board votes to join Securis Insurance Pool for workers' compensation
The Board adopted Resolution 2026-06 to join Securis Insurance Pool, Inc., a cooperative under A.R.S. 11-952.01(B), for workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance; Chief Chappell said the proposal is budget neutral and cited Securis's five-year history and broad participation.

The Governing Board voted to adopt Resolution 2026-06 approving membership in Securis Insurance Pool, Inc., a not-for-profit cooperative formed under A.R.S. 11-952.01(B) to secure workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance. Gary Bynum moved adoption and James Bertrand seconded; the motion passed 4-0.
