Commission schedules CDBG hearing, adopts budget amendment and sets FY26 budget schedule
On March 4 the commission scheduled a March 18 public hearing for a CDBG Neighborhood grant, adopted FY24–25 Budget Amendment No. 2, approved additional funding for contractor P.O.s, and set special meeting dates to review and adopt the FY26 budget.

The commission took several finance and grant‑related procedural actions during the March 4 meeting. Fourth District Commissioner Carolyn McNary moved to schedule a public hearing for March 18, 2025, regarding the City's application for a Michigan CDBG Neighborhood grant; the motion, seconded by At‑Large Commissioner Lucas Allen, carried unanimously.
