Miles Robor, the new zoning administrator, told the committee he expects the county to be a competitive candidate for a Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) grant that could help pay for a comprehensive-plan update. He said the grant can cover professional services, requires no matching local funds and would "be a max of $50,000 to help cover professional services."
