The board unanimously adopted the Alachua County Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan after a staff presentation that summarized two years of outreach, a prioritized list of nearly 500 candidate projects and recommended implementation pathways through TPO funding, grants and mobility fees. The plan aims to “make walking and biking reasonable, attractive, safe transportation choices for people of all ages and abilities,” Transportation Planning Manager Allison Moss said.
