Center Line officials met in a budget workshop on April 14, 2026, at City Hall Council Chambers to review the city's budget shortfall and talk through possible responses. The meeting began at 6:00 p.m. and was led by Mayor Binson; Council Members Aaron Delikta, Peter Harenski, Richard Moeller and Patrick Pockrandt were recorded as present, along with City Manager/Clerk Dennis Champine and Director of Finance/Treasurer Joseph Sobota.
