Marion County adopts $1.736 billion final budget, raises general fund millage to 3.35 mills
The Marion County Board of County Commissioners unanimously adopted a $1,736,146,433 final budget for fiscal year 2026–27 and set the general fund millage at 3.35 mills, a 13.18% increase over the rollback rate. Budget director Audrey Fowler said the increase funds ambulance personnel and sheriff jail operations among other priorities.
