Three working groups confirmed spring projects: a value-added food-business networking event at a new shared-use kitchen, a pilot rural food-system survey in Lone Tree, and development of a CFFG impacts dashboard and planning for a 2027 local foods festival.

Council staff reviewed the three working groups and their 2026 priorities: Value-Added Food Business Development will plan a roundtable and networking event at a soon-to-open shared-use kitchen to connect entrepreneurs, processors and licensing resources; Rural Connections plans to pilot a food-system survey in Lone Tree; and the CFFG group will develop an impacts dashboard and explore plans for a 2027 local foods festival/dinner at the historic Poor Farm.
