During the meeting's public-comment period, Katie Hopper introduced herself and presented an initial proposal for union negotiations. "I'm Katie Hopper. I'm the steward for seats, and I'm here with the initial proposal for our union negotiations," she said. The board chair acknowledged the submission and stated it "is so received and shall be recorded in the minutes."
