Michelle Morrison of the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council briefed Marion County on the regional effort to create a model data‑center code that local governments could adapt. She said the council has organized a technical advisory committee of planners, utilities and subject matter experts to harmonize definitions, application requirements and enforceable standards across eight counties.
