Staff presented a targeted amendment to Section 4.3.0.6 of the Marion County Land Development Code that would extend temporary RV permits from 60 days to 90 days, with a single 30‑day extension permitted at the Growth Services director’s discretion. Kathleen Brignoli of Grove Services, who presented the item, summarized the core change: “The change proposed being, from 60 days to 90 days, with the option for a single 30 day extension, to be granted by the growth services director, if approved.” The amendment also reduces the number of travel trailers allowed under a single temporary-use permit from five to four; five or more would trigger a special-event permit.
