Sherry, speaking for the Wisconsin Mississippi River Parkway Commission (the Great River Road), described the commission’s statutory basis and laid out a marketing and distribution plan for the Great River Road guide and related outreach. She said the commission received a Travel Wisconsin grant (about $39,550) that required a local match and that the group has launched a new website and revived brochure distribution; she asked the committee to consider contributing $2,000 in the county budget to support the guide and county‑level promotion.
