The Howard County Board of Commissioners denied two county burial assistance applications during its March 24 meeting. For the Brown application, Commissioner Kirt Lukasiewicz moved to deny the request, Jessie Urbanski seconded, and the vote was recorded as Lukasiewicz Aye; Hirschman Aye; and Urbanski Aye. For the Trentman application, Urbanski moved to deny and Lukasiewicz seconded; the roll call again recorded a unanimous vote to deny.
