The Pierce County Board of Commissioners recommended approval to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission for two designated liquor‑license requests for events at the Pierce Pavilion. On March 30 the board recommended Charlie’s/Kay Hunt for an event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and recommended the Pierce American Legion for an event on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
