Trustee Rigoni briefed the board on a Committee of the Whole recommendation to support a Cook County Class 8 real estate tax incentive application for property at 7200 Sauk Trail, part of the Frankfort Point redevelopment (a vacant 133‑acre site at Harlem Avenue and Sauk Trail). The Class 8 program reduces assessment values for qualifying industrial developments to offset higher Cook County industrial tax rates and improve competitiveness compared with nearby Will County parcels.
