The Frankfort Village Board advanced an ordinance to establish formal mural regulations for the H1 Historic District, a measure the Plan Commission recommended unanimously. Trustee Petro presented the proposal, saying it would add a new section to chapter 151 to set design standards, application requirements and evaluation criteria "to ensure compatibility with the historic character of the area."
