Council approves $10,000 design amendment to complete Shasta/East Main sidewalk loop

Public Works Director Bret Marshall told the council the Shasta Avenue/East Main Street Sidewalk Project design is approximately 90% complete and the engineer's estimate came in below available grant funding, allowing the City to expand design work. He said Amendment No. 1 to the City's personal/professional services contract with JL Engineering LLC would add design services to finish the sidewalk loop around the old Little Butte School and Old Schoolyard Park for an amount not to exceed $10,000.
