Council adopts RHID resolution, allows grant submission to fund 7th Street utilities
The Atwood City Council adopted Resolution #2026-05 to designate a Rural Housing Incentive District (RHID) for 7th Street and approved Two Homes LLC's request to submit a grant to the Dane G. Hansen Foundation for electric and gas infrastructure; the grant-submission motion passed 4–1.

Josh Wolters, representing Two Homes LLC, reported the Moderate‑Income Home (MIH) construction is complete and asked the council to move forward with approving a RHID for 7th Street. Wolters also requested the city allow a grant application to the Dane G. Hansen Foundation to help fund gas and electric infrastructure for the project.
