District leaders and regional partners presented the growth and impact of CUSD 300’s career-readiness programming during the superintendent’s report on Sept. 22. Joe Saskowski (Executive Director of College and Career initiatives) and partners from the Northern Kane County Education for Employment region described a regional internship program that grew from 52 interns five years ago to 307 this past summer, with about $330,000 paid out to students across the region.
