Board authorizes EWP submissions and discusses Springfield, Morgantown road work

County engineering staff updated the board on Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) and state-aid projects. The contractor on Morgantown Road has completed its original scope and the county will schedule a final inspection for Oct. 1, staff said. The project list will be split per a new district engineer's direction into previously improved and unimproved projects, affecting eligibility for striping-only work on some roads.
