During its meeting on Sept. 22, the board approved a payment recommended in the treasurer's report to support sheriff operations. The treasurer stated, "On the treasury report, I have a check here for Rachel for $10,692.53," and a supervisor then moved to approve the sheriff's support payment (the motion was stated as $10,693.53). After a second and brief roll-call 'Aye' responses, the motion passed.
