Selectboard defers structures grant, advances Class 2 roadway RFP work for Pomfret Road
Pomfret’s Selectboard deferred a town highway structures grant application to March 18 to obtain updated culvert pricing, discussed a draft Class 2 Roadway grant engineering RFP for Pomfret Road (Woodstock line to Howe Hill), and confirmed state compliance and TA-60 signing. The structures application deadline is April 15, 2026.

The Selectboard deferred action on a Town Highway Structures Grant application because updated pricing for culvert work was not yet available; Road Foreman Frank Rogers said he expects updated figures by the March 18 meeting and noted the application deadline of April 15, 2026. Rogers will contact VTrans engineer Mike Blakslee to ask whether engineering costs can be included in a structures grant application.
