Board approves $3,500 MRI proposal to widen E3 Basin control structure
The River Ridge CDD approved MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the E3 Basin control structure weir to the maximum allowable width to improve outflow; the work was approved for $3,500 and staff will provide before-and-after photos.

District Manager Cleo Adams presented MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the opening on the E3 Basin control structure. District Engineer Charlie Krebs explained the current control structure is slightly narrower than the maximum width toward the Florida Power & Light easement and that MRI would use a concrete saw to widen the weir to the maximum to improve drainage.
