Superintendent Dr. Jeremy N. Schmidt recommended approval of the PreACT testing contract and the board approved the contract during the Aug. 20 meeting. The motion was made by John Jared and seconded by Shelly Booth; votes were recorded as Aye from Booth, Hembrey, Lescher, Yanik, Kusiak and Jared, with Fleming absent.
