The Pipestone City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2026-46 on Sept. 8 accepting Councilmember Danielle Thompson’s formal resignation effective Sept. 8, 2026. Mayor Dan Delaney presented the resolution and the council voted to allow city staff to publish a notice of vacancy to begin the replacement process.
