The Ault Town Board voted July 8 to adopt the town's 2026 Comprehensive Plan with a specific wording change about future intergovernmental agreements. Town Administrator Sharon Sullivan explained staff had replaced a commitment that the town "will form" an IGA with neighboring jurisdictions with language that the town "will consider" forming an IGA, reflecting concerns expressed by neighboring jurisdictions about overlapping growth boundaries.
